Inclusion Criteria: * Young adults aged 19 to 36 years * At least 20 teeth present * Clinical attachment loss of at least 5 mm affecting at least 8 teeth * Bone loss around at least 3 teeth other than incisors and first molars Exclusion Criteria: * Systemic disease * Pregnancy or lactation * Current or former smoking * Systemic conditions that could alter the host response * Medical conditions requiring antibiotic prophylaxis during routine dental procedures * Antibiotic therapy within the previous 6 months * Previous periodontal treatment
