Gum recession fix: new blood-clot treatment takes on standard graft

NCT ID NCT07591142

First seen May 17, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tested two ways to treat receding gums in 20 healthy adults. One method uses a special blood-clot material (T-PRF), the other uses a small piece of tissue from the roof of the mouth (connective tissue graft). Each person got both treatments on different sides of their mouth. Researchers measured gum coverage, healing, and satisfaction over 6 months to see which approach works better.
