NCT ID NCT07339605
First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 07, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests whether a special gel (hyaluronic acid) can help regrow bone lost to severe gum disease, compared to another gel (enamel matrix derivative) or standard cleaning alone. Sixty adults with deep gum pockets will receive a non-surgical deep cleaning plus one of the gels. Researchers will measure bone regrowth on X-rays and check gum health over one year.
