New combo attack on Hard-to-Treat colorectal cancer shows promise in early trial

Summary
This study tests whether adding a GSL synthetase inhibitor (eliglustat) to standard immunotherapy and/or regorafenib can shrink tumors or slow cancer growth in people with advanced colorectal cancer that has not responded to at least two prior treatments. About 120 adults with a specific genetic type (pMMR/MSS) will be randomly assigned to one of three treatment groups. The goal is to find a more effective way to control this hard-to-treat cancer.
