New growth hormone shot could help short kids grow taller

Summary

This study tests a new, longer-acting growth hormone (PEG-rhGH) against the standard growth hormone (hGH) in 72 short children who were born small for their gestational age. The goal is to see which treatment works better at increasing height over 26 weeks. Participants must be at least 3 years old, not yet in puberty, and have a height well below average for their age.
