Summary

This study tests a group-based psychological program called ACTnow for young adults (18-35) with type 1 diabetes who feel overwhelmed by their condition. The goal is to reduce diabetes distress and improve well-being. Participants attend six bi-weekly group sessions led by a psychologist and nurse, and are compared to a waitlist group who receives the program later.
