Summary
This study looks at whether giving a monthly food card to low-income adults with chronic conditions and food insecurity can improve their health and well-being. About 7,000 people in California's health insurance program will either get a monthly food benefit or a one-time lump sum payment. The goal is to see if steady food support helps reduce food insecurity and improve diet quality.
