NCT ID NCT07506733

First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study looks at whether the speed of a manual therapy called the Graston Technique affects muscle tightness, pain, and oxygen levels in people with bruxism (teeth grinding/jaw clenching). About 34 adults with bruxism and trigger points in their upper back muscles will receive the technique at two different speeds (60 vs. 120 beats per minute) in random order, with a week between sessions. The goal is to find the most effective speed for easing muscle discomfort.
