Summary
This study tested whether taking a special grape seed extract supplement for 2-3 weeks before lung cancer surgery could help fight the cancer. Researchers enrolled a small group of veterans with early-stage lung cancer to see if the supplement was safe and if it caused anti-cancer changes in tumor cells. The goal was to see if this approach could improve treatment and potentially reduce the chance of the cancer coming back.
