New device aims to starve tumors by cutting off blood supply

Summary

This study is testing whether a new medical device called the GPX Embolic Device is safe and effective for blocking blood vessels. Doctors use this procedure, called embolization, to cut off blood flow to vascular tumors and other problem areas in the body. The trial will follow 114 patients for 30 days after their procedure to see how well the device works and monitor for any complications.
