First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This early-phase trial tests a new treatment called MCARH109 for people with multiple myeloma that has returned or not responded to at least three prior therapies. The treatment uses specially modified immune cells (CAR T-cells) to target a protein called GPRC5D on myeloma cells. The main goal is to find the safest dose and see if it can shrink the cancer, though side effects are possible.
