New PET scan could outshine MRI in detecting liver cancer

Summary
This study tests a new type of PET scan (XH06) against standard MRI to see which better detects liver cancer. About 150 adults with suspected or confirmed liver cancer will receive both scans, and results will be compared to tissue samples. The goal is to improve diagnosis and staging, helping doctors choose the best treatment.
