First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This early study tests a man-made cornea device for people whose corneas have become cloudy, often due to injury or disease. Ten participants will receive the implant and be followed for at least 12 months to see if the device stays in place and improves vision safely. The goal is to offer an alternative to donor cornea transplants.
