Study to test 'Golden Hour' protocol for tiniest newborns
NCT ID NCT07461623
First seen Mar 18, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study aimed to see if a detailed care plan for extremely premature babies (born before 28 weeks or weighing less than 1000 grams) could be successfully used during their critical first hour of life. The goal was to stabilize these fragile newborns faster and reduce complications. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
