New hope for gestational diabetes: common drugs studied in pregnancy

Summary

This study looked at how the diabetes drugs glyburide and metformin work in pregnant women with gestational diabetes. 177 women between 20 and 32 weeks pregnant took part. The goal was to find the right doses and understand how these drugs control blood sugar during pregnancy.
