Summary
This study looks at whether changes in blood sugar levels before giving antibiotics can help predict how serious sepsis will be and what outcomes patients in the ICU will have. Researchers will monitor 105 adults with sepsis, tracking their glucose levels and a new measure called the Glycemic Shock Index. The goal is to find early warning signs that could improve care.
