First seen Jan 23, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tested a new type of PET/CT scan that uses a special probe (18F-Exendin-4) to find insulinomas—small tumors in the pancreas that cause low blood sugar. Twenty people with confirmed insulinoma or related conditions took part. The goal was to see how well this scan matches other tests like MRI and CT, potentially offering a more accurate way to diagnose these tumors.
