Simple gloves may shield cancer patients from debilitating nerve pain

Summary

This study tests if wearing surgical gloves during oxaliplatin chemotherapy can prevent nerve damage in the hands. About 84 adults with advanced colon cancer will be randomly assigned to wear gloves or not during treatment. The goal is to see if this simple, low-cost method reduces the risk of moderate to severe hand numbness and tingling.
