First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This 24-week study tests whether an experimental stannous fluoride toothpaste can improve gum health and reduce plaque buildup better than a standard fluoride toothpaste. About 300 adults with mild to moderate gingivitis will brush twice daily. Researchers will measure bleeding gums and plaque levels at several checkups to see if the new toothpaste works better.
