New drug combo targets resistant leukemia

Summary

This early-stage trial tests a combination of two drugs, gilteritinib and momelotinib, for adults with a specific type of acute myeloid leukemia (AML) that has come back or not responded to treatment. The main goal is to find a safe dose of momelotinib when given with gilteritinib. About 20 participants will be enrolled at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
