New hepatitis b drug enters early human safety testing

Summary
This early-stage study tests a new drug called GIGA-2339 in 48 adults with chronic hepatitis B. The main goal is to see if the drug is safe and how the body processes it. Participants will receive either the drug or a placebo by IV, and will continue their usual hepatitis B medications.
