What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Gezond en goed met elkaar (a behavioral program with lifestyle coaching focused on positive health and literacy)
What this could lead to
If it works, this could point toward a community-based program to help people with limited health literacy feel better and manage their health more effectively.
What could go wrong
This is a small, completed study with only 100 participants, so results may not apply to everyone. The program is behavioral, so improvements may be modest and hard to sustain long-term.
As listed by the trial registrant
