NCT ID NCT07001410

First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study will look back at records of 1,000 adults who were in the intensive care unit (ICU) to understand how older patients fare. Researchers will compare three age groups (under 65, 65-79, and 80+) on things like death rates, need for a breathing machine, and how long they stay in the ICU. The goal is to learn more about the challenges and outcomes for elderly patients in the ICU.
