First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 04, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study looked at whether smelling geranium essential oil can help reduce tiredness and improve sleep in people receiving dialysis for kidney failure. 90 adults on dialysis took part in a crossover trial where they received both the aromatherapy and a placebo at different times. The goal was to see if this simple, non-drug approach could offer a safe way to feel better during treatment.
