New 'Go-Slow' strategy aims to help frailest cancer patients tolerate treatment
NCT ID NCT06517017
Summary
This study is testing a gentler way to start treatment for very frail older adults with multiple myeloma, a blood cancer. Researchers want to see if beginning with two drugs and slowly adding a third helps patients complete their treatment and feel better. The goal is to improve treatment adherence and quality of life for a group that often struggles with standard, more intense therapies.
