Summary
This study tested whether injecting the antibiotic gentamicin directly into swollen lymph nodes helps people with cat scratch disease recover faster. 75 participants received either gentamicin or a placebo injection, along with standard oral antibiotics. The goal was to see if the injection reduced lymph node size, pain, and the need for drainage or surgery within 28 days.
