Your genes might explain rare vaccine side effects

NCT ID NCT05212792

First seen May 18, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 2 times

Summary

This study looks for genetic reasons why some people develop rare but serious side effects after COVID-19 vaccination, such as Guillain-Barré syndrome, blood clotting disorders, or heart inflammation. Researchers will compare the DNA of people who had these side effects with those who did not. The goal is to identify genetic markers that could help predict and prevent these reactions in the future.
