Summary
This study looks at the best way to inform close relatives (parents, siblings, children) of people newly diagnosed with colorectal cancer about their possible genetic risk. It compares having the patient share the information versus having a healthcare provider do it. The goal is to see which method leads to more relatives getting tested for inherited cancer genes, which could help them take steps to prevent or catch cancer early.
