Health coaches may bridge genetic testing gap for black men with prostate cancer
NCT ID NCT04763980
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looks at why African American men with prostate cancer often miss out on genetic testing. Researchers are testing whether a community-based health coach can provide clear, culturally relevant education to help these men make informed decisions about testing. The goal is to learn how to improve access and understanding for this group.
