Gene study aims to personalize lung cancer drug therapy

NCT ID NCT05987956

First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at how tiny genetic differences (called SNPs) in ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer patients might influence how well the drug alectinib works and what side effects occur. Researchers will analyze DNA from 600 patients who have been taking alectinib for at least 90 days. The goal is to better understand why some people respond differently to the same treatment.
