New drug cocktail aims to stall advanced prostate cancer

Summary
This study tests a new two-drug combination (gedatolisib plus darolutamide) in men with metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer (mCRPC) — a form of prostate cancer that has spread and stopped responding to standard hormone therapy. The goal is to find the safest and most effective dose to slow cancer growth. About 54 men will take part in this early-phase trial.
