Summary

This study collects small tissue samples from the stomach and upper intestine of people with severe gastroparesis (delayed stomach emptying). Researchers look for specific cell abnormalities that might predict whether a patient will benefit from a gastric electrical stimulation device. The goal is to better understand the disease and improve treatment decisions.
