This study tested whether a longer intestinal bypass during stomach cancer surgery improves diabetes control more than the standard approach. It involved 94 adults with early-stage gastric cancer and type 2 diabetes. The goal was to see if the new method could lower blood sugar and reduce the need for diabetes medication.
