Summary

This study tests whether adding ganagliflozin tablets to standard treatment can slow the worsening of kidney disease in people with type 2 diabetes and chronic kidney disease. About 1,244 adults will receive either the drug or a placebo for 120 weeks. The main goal is to see if the drug helps maintain kidney function over time.
