First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study tests whether a fun, game-like program combined with remote support from a nurse can help people take their statin medication more consistently. Statins lower cholesterol and reduce heart disease risk, but many people struggle to take them regularly. The trial will enroll 2,200 adults who have trouble sticking with their statin prescription and track their medication use over six months.
