Summary
This study tested whether draining fluid from a swollen gallbladder before removing it (aspiration) reduces complications like accidental bursting, bile leaks, and infections. 70 adults with acute cholecystitis, mucocele, or empyema took part. The goal was to see if aspiration makes the operation easier and safer.
