First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 10, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study is observing 300 adults with kidney, bladder, lung, or liver cancer who are starting immunotherapy (PD-1/PDL-1 inhibitors). Researchers will measure a protein called Galectin-3 in the blood before each treatment to see if its level is linked to how well the therapy works and what side effects occur. The goal is to learn if Galectin-3 can help predict outcomes and guide future treatments.
