First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether galantamine, a natural extract from the Lycoris aurea plant, can improve recovery in people who have had an ischemic stroke. The trial will include 66 adults who had a stroke within the last 72 hours and have moderate to severe symptoms. Researchers will measure changes in brain function, blood flow, and movement to see if adding galantamine to standard care leads to better outcomes.
