Walking test goes High-Tech: can a camera replace wearable sensors for seniors?
NCT ID NCT07119944
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 36 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a computer program that analyzes video can accurately measure walking patterns in older adults, compared to a special wearable sensor. About 30 people aged 65 and older who can walk on their own will have their walking recorded by both methods. The goal is to see if the video method is a reliable and simpler way to check gait, which could help with fall risk and mobility assessments.
