Summary
This study is testing a new type of cochlear implant called the Acclaim CI that is fully implanted under the skin, with no external parts. It aims to help adults with severe to profound hearing loss who get limited benefit from hearing aids. Researchers will check if the device improves word understanding and monitor for any safety issues over two years of follow-up visits.
