Herbal-Antibiotic combo targets hidden cause of infertility

NCT ID NCT07485842

First seen Mar 22, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether adding FuKe Qianjin capsules (a Chinese herbal medicine) to standard antibiotic therapy works better than antibiotics alone for chronic endometritis, a uterine infection linked to infertility and miscarriage. About 300 women aged 20-40 will take the capsules or a placebo for 56 days, plus 14 days of antibiotics, and be followed for 6 months. The goal is to see if the combination improves infection clearance and pregnancy rates.
