First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study looks at how inflammation in the brain affects people with frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD), a group of rare dementias. Researchers will use advanced MRI scans, blood tests, and spinal fluid samples from 110 participants to track markers of inflammation and nerve damage. The goal is to better understand the disease process and find ways to tell different types of FTLD apart, which could help with future treatments.
