First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tests a cream containing kynurenic acid (called FS2) to see if it can reduce scarring in burn patients who need skin graft surgery. About 70 people aged 12 to 65 will apply the cream to both the graft and donor skin sites for 90 days after healing. The goal is to check if FS2 is safe and improves scar appearance compared to a placebo cream.
