NCT ID NCT05372497

First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding pain education and sensory exercises to standard physiotherapy helps people with frozen shoulder. 21 adults with chronic shoulder pain were split into two groups: one received only conventional physiotherapy, the other added brain-focused techniques like mirror therapy and movement imagery. After 4 weeks, the group receiving the extra therapy showed greater improvements in pain and movement compared to standard care alone.
