Two simple shoulder injections show promise for frozen joints
NCT ID NCT07183436
Summary
This study tested two different injection treatments for frozen shoulder, a painful condition that limits arm movement. Fifty-six adults received either a combination injection or a single medication injection, followed by physical therapy. Both treatments significantly reduced pain and improved shoulder function over six months, with the combination showing a small extra benefit for regaining certain arm movements.
