First seen Feb 25, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at how different patterns of physical activity—like how often, how hard, and how long you move—can help reduce the harmful effects of sitting too much. Researchers will compare several activity routines in 48 healthy but sedentary adults aged 40-70. The goal is to find the best way to interrupt long periods of sitting to support heart and metabolic health.
