First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether frankincense-based oral care products can reduce gum inflammation and plaque in people with mild to moderate gingivitis. About 90 adults with early gum disease will use either a frankincense product or a standard commercial product for 21 days. The goal is to see if this natural alternative works as well as or better than conventional treatments.
