Summary
This study looks at whether three simple, quick tests can help identify older adults (70+) who are frail and at higher risk for problems after elective surgery. Researchers will screen 350 patients in Iceland using a questionnaire, a walking test, and a clock-drawing test. The goal is to find a practical way to predict complications like readmission or longer hospital stays, so doctors can offer extra support before surgery.
