Nurse training boosts forensic skills in Kids' care

NCT ID NCT07519239

First seen Apr 13, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a four-week forensic nursing education program can improve the skills of nurses who work with children. Sixty nurses from pediatric clinics, emergency rooms, and intensive care units will be split into two groups: one gets the training, the other does not. Their forensic knowledge will be tested before, right after, and three months later. The goal is to see if this training helps nurses better care for young patients in situations involving abuse or other forensic issues.
