Warm foot baths may soothe chemo fatigue in young cancer patients

NCT ID NCT06529484

First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looked at whether warm foot baths can help reduce the severe tiredness (fatigue) that children often feel after chemotherapy. The trial included 60 children aged 7 to 12 with advanced lymphoma who were starting their first round of chemo. Parents reported their child's fatigue levels using a detailed questionnaire. The goal was to see if this simple, drug-free method could improve comfort and quality of life during cancer treatment.
